Key Responsibilities:

Our Hub Business Partner Supervisors are critical to overseeing and driving daily operational performance of our business partners. Our supervisors cultivate strong partnerships with our business partner teams, both frontline and management, as well as serving as the liaison between the business partners and United Airlines. The supervisors are responsible for managing daily operational performance, various levels of safety and security compliance, and adherence to our Service Level Agreements. We rely on our supervisors to proactively communicate operational changes, challenges, areas of risk, and then partner on immediate and long-term solutions and strategies.

Specific daily functions of our Hub Business Partner supervisors listed below:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our outsourced lines of service to include cabin cleaning, provisioning, janitorial, catering, fueling, wheelchair, security, bussing, etc.
  • Supervise the daily business partner operations to include visual and written audits, briefings, staffing reviews, reporting and analysis, performance meetings, operational walks, etc.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during the shift for both United and on behalf of the business partners
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to work through in-the-moment operational issues and strategize for long-term solutions
  • Analyze and communicate performance metrics vs goal and leverage data to benchmark trends
  • Influence safety culture in adherence to SOP and regulations

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent education
  • Two years of experience in Airport Operations or a related operational environment
  • Previous experience in a leadership role such as a team lead or supervisor
  • Effective communication and conflict management skills, both verbal and written, to include email, PowerPoint, shift briefings, etc.
  • Previous experience with performance management, analytical problem solving, and critical decision making
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred
