Role Summary:
The Storesperson is responsible for maintaining aeronautical products, tooling and consumable stock, along with supporting Air North’s fleet with On Time Performance. The incumbent will ensure Company Stores are current and that parts are recorded and stored in an orderly fashion
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shipping, receiving, reviewing and checking status of purchase &/or repair orders
- Purchasing aircraft parts, materials and services from Air North approved sources
- Complete computer data entry of shipments, goods received, work orders etc. and physical filing of documents
- Ensuring accuracy of invoices and recording repair costs
- Issue inventory and assist in monitoring and maintaining inventory to appropriate levels
Must haves:
- Grade 12 High School diploma or equivalent
- Required to maintain a valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Training and/or experience in inventory management and purchasing would be an asset
- Basic administrative skills and computer proficiency required for data entry
- Be physically fit (able to lift up to 70 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods of time)
- A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
- Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
- Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance terminology
- Previous aviation experience
