What you need to do this role
The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in planning and building rosters within a complex department of 200 individuals, using advanced optimisation or AI software. Proficiency in Excel and data management is essential, including expertise in advanced Excel, data analysis, and tools like Databricks. A good understanding of Python or similar optimisation tools is highly desirable. We also offer opportunities for further training, such as a Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship so your learning path never sits still.
You will be a collaborative team player with a positive, constructive approach to improving roster quality, supported by operational insights and data. A keen analytical mindset, strong customer focus, and the ability to deliver exceptional service are critical, as is the capacity to manage multiple complex tasks and shifting priorities. Familiarity with crew compliance regulations, including Fatigue Risk Management and FTL schemes, is vital, alongside the ability to interpret schedules, identify impacts on crew rosters, and independently devise effective solutions.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time 40 hour per week position or the option to work shift patterns (12-hour days, 4 on 4 off). We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office in Luton.
