We are actively interviewing qualified candidates for a Network Manager that will oversee our organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently to research and troubleshoot complex issues. The Network Manager will manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure, including local area networks, wide area networks, and wireless networks. Aligned with our core values of Respect, Safety, Quality, and Results, the Network Manager ensures consistent uptime, secure systems, and efficient IT operations that directly support our 24/7 organization.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, highly technical, solutions-oriented, and prepared to support users across both facilities. Overtime or off-hours work may be required for urgent issues, system upgrades, or planned maintenance windows.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, install, and support network equipment including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Administer Linux servers and manage Active Directory, Office 365, and Teams environments.
- Oversee the organization’s Unity Call Manager system.
- Manage and deploy wireless equipment, specifically Meraki and Ruckus solutions.
- Implement and maintain network failover solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Working in conjunction with our SOC monitor security systems, including EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), MDR (Managed Detection and Response), NDR (Network Detection and Response), and SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
- Develop and execute Incident Response (IR) planning to mitigate security threats and breaches.
- Conduct independent research to remain aware of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security vulnerabilities.
- Document IT procedures and automate process to improve existing network technologies and processes.
- Effectively communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to quickly identify and resolve network performance issues and outages.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform independent research, and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee and maintain data backups and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with IT staff, including PC technicians, remote access, and on-site assistance.
- Manage analysis, development, and implementation of network hardware and solutions.
- Document IT procedures and processes to improve automation and system reliability.
- Stay current on technological trends, tools, and best practices.
- Report directly to the Senior Director of IT.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to interpret and apply technical data, documentation, and system information.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Basic understanding of supervisory techniques.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Six (6) Years minimum of Networking experience with at least three (3) years of Cisco experience required.
- CCNA or CNNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate certificate required.
- Three (3) Years of experience with Cisco Switches/Routers/Firewall, VoIP, and Call Manager Experience preferred.
- Five (5) Years as a primary server administrator for Windows and Linux with Red Hat and Oracle Databases preferred.
- Four (4) Years of IT Supervisor experience preferred.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and SAN preferred.
- Experience using Cybersecurity Solutions such as MDR, NDR, and SIEM is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level.
- Occasional crawling, kneeling, or balancing.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Repetitive hand movements; good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.:
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- The work location includes the MIS office, data centers, and all departments as needed.
- Equipment operated includes telephones, PCs, servers, printers, copiers, Cisco routers and switches, dumb terminals, wireless equipment, and zoom video conferencing.
- Protective equipment required includes protective footwear, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.
- Potential hazards include potential exposure to materials listed on Material Safety Data Sheets, exposure to VDT radiation, and moving machinery.
OTHER DUTIES:
- May be required to work at both Marana, AZ and Tucson, AZ locations as business needs dictate.
- Additional duties may be assigned at the discretion of department management.
