Summary
The Multimedia Developer designs, develops, and implements interactive training programs and courseware in support of aviation training requirements. This role applies the Instructional Systems Development (ISD) process and produces engaging digital learning materials, simulations, and interactive courseware. The developer integrates graphics, audio, video, and interactive elements into multiple delivery platforms to meet program standards and client requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Works with assigned experts to develop ISD products through a process that includes review and research of government furnished materials (GFMs). Interviews subject matter experts (SMEs), locates and extracts information from GFMs, syllabus, course structure, and other ISD documents as required to ensure training meets ISD and technical requirements.
Design, produce, and integrate 2D/3D graphics, animations, audio, and video assets for interactive applications.
Implement interactivity and simulations using industry-standard technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Unity/Unreal, SCORM/xAPI-compliant tools).
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design/Development, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and modern web development frameworks/libraries (e.g., CreateJS, React, Angular, or similar).
Proficiency with multimedia authoring and design tools (Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro).

Language Skills
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Will be required to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints. Must be able to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
Mathematical Skills
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, prices, commissions, and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable.
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper spaning and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
