Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities 

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD and CAM software, with a preference for Siemens NX.

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes for machining operations.

  • Create detailed plans for machining processes, applying advanced technical drawing knowledge.

  • Select appropriate cutting tools for various machining operations (turning, milling).

  • Design tooling/fixtures and make decisions on technological process nonconformities.

  • Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and experience to contribute to strategy execution in close cooperation with team.

  • Use analytical thinking and technical skills to address challenges, proposing solutions with guidance and leveraging internal resources.

  • After training, implement lean manufacturing principles, such as SIX SIGMA, to improve processes and train personnel.

  • Manage small projects related to personnel training and process improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • ​Profound experience in production  covering most of the following: tooling/fixture design, and machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, punching).

  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for technology development and CNC programming.

  • Deep understanding of manufacturing technology in machining processes.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Fluent in Romanian and communicative English.

  • Experience with machinery operating systems (E.g.  Fanuc, OSP, Sinumerik).

Desired Characteristics

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve problems.
