Job Description:

MISSION AND SCOPE

Support to Aircraft during flight line, painting process, flight test and delivery, either at the shopfloor or with documentary preparation.

Guarantee the conformity of a product/service to the requirements specified by our customers, and support on quality on time and on cost delivery by delivering right first time to increase customer loyalty

KEY DELIVERABLES:

• Quality Inspections and attestation of work orders
• Optimization of Inspection activities, fast response to quality issues
• Process Improvement, Investigations and root cause analysis
• Foreign object damage prevention
• Opening / Closure of Non conformities where appropriate and support to the shop floor providing expertise in Q issues
• Configuration control: throughout the production cycle of the aircraft, monitor and resolve configuration discrepancies between as built and as designed.
• Design Mods: assure implementation iaw defined procedures.
• Aircraft Delivery Documentation: compile and certify documentation generated in CCMD or supporting departments, for complete aircraft and major components.
• Delivery Process: act as focal point in front of the customer for aircraft documentation presentation and issues.
• Build up and conformity of the Aircraft Inspection Report of all A/C of MRTT Programmes for delivery to customer
• Support to production staff as Q engineer in production line, FL and deliveries

Main dimensions

A.    Workload: Conversion to MRTT (Tanker) version of 6-8 aircraft per year, with 6 major components subject to own configuration management and 500 mods, 3000 serialized items aprox., and 3000 items subject to Hard Times to be tracked and documented per aircraft.

Remarks

The Quality operations role at MRTT FAL is in close relationship with Programs, as responsible of the GAC reception, CAMO, as A/C Airworthiness responsible, Design Office as configuration responsible, Production, Planning and Manufacturing Engineering.

SKILLS:

We’re looking for candidate with the following skills:

● Educated in an Aeronautical Engineering degree or a related discipline.

● Experience in Manufacturing and Quality

● Advanced level in English and Spanish.

● Good interpersonal and communication skills.

● Teamwork spirit

● Proactive, able to propose new ideas and improvement driven

● Innovative and open minded
