Job Title: FPI Sandblaster- General Labor
Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Glendale specializes in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings. We have an exciting opportunity for a FPI Sandblaster position.
Essential Responsibilities
- Sandblast castings according to job specifications.
- Abrades surface of magnesium and/or aluminum castings to remove adhering scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust and dirt and to impart specified finish by performing duties as assigned.
- Will also assist other employees within the fluorescent penetrant department.
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- Lift and carry up to (50lbs)
- Willing to work in fast-pace and sometimes noisy environment
- Able to work in a team setting
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to work overtime when required
