About the role
In this role, you will be maintaining & controlling stock availability of ULDs for QR network stations to move cargo & baggage in a safe and cost-effective manner. Also, you will coordinate in planning and placing order for ULDs along with supporting tools. Additionally, you will manage effective system entries and track of ULDs distributed network wide.
As part of your role, your responsibilities will be inclusive of, but not limited to the following:
- Supervises and attends to telephone calls, action emails and maintains records, files, and documents for administrative/reference purpose.
- Checks serviceability of units and conditions of tie down equipment before departure ex-DOH to ensure safety to avoid damages to aircraft, passengers and property.
- Controls & monitors stock of ULD, tie down equipment network-wise to meet the requirement to ensure enough stock available at all stations.
- Store & handles ULD network-wide to avoid damages, retrieve and repair damaged units for re-use to minimize expenses and maximize utility.
- Ensures that the ULD requirement at offline stations and new stations are timely met with by coordinating with OAL for leasing and Co-ordinate & liaise with OAL for leasing and movement of ULDs to QR network and offline stations.
- Obtains record of U/S ULDs to be written off and arrange disposal for space utility and get revenue from damaged ULDs.
- Ensures interline units are being managed properly and necessary steps are being taken to do a proper handover to avoid liability for the airline.
- Oversee and supervise employees. Direct daily activities, recruit, train, develop and discipline to ensure a high standard of service delivery.

Qualifications
About you
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years of job-related experience
- Excellent command of English language
- Experienced in supporting logistics operations inclusive of load control, ramp handling and ULD management
- Knowledgeable of computer applications under MS office
- Knowledgeable in Cargo operation, aircraft types and IATA rules
