The Manufacturing Engineer will provide core technical expertise to the Housing Business Unit, developing and industrializing routing sheets for both new and legacy products. You will oversee all P&E-related activities and monitor NPI (New Product Introduction) plans to drive the overall business strategy and operational excellence.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Technical Documentation: Create and manage internal documentation (work orders, inspection records, operation sheets, part programs VT) ensuring full compliance with technical drawings, Quality, and Customer requirements.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Standards & Best Practices: Develop and consolidate manufacturing standards to ensure consistency and high-quality output.
Technical Support: Act as the primary point of contact for the shop floor and Quality department to resolve complex technical issues in real-time.
Cost Reduction: Review manufacturing routers and procurement strategies to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.
Technology & Innovation: Coordinate activities related to new technologies, machinery, and capital investments, providing detailed technical reporting.
Program Leadership: Drive Production Readiness for assigned programs, acting as the primary Supply Chain interface for Program Managers to meet milestones and Manufacturing Target Costs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Support the Business Unit and PMs in technical discussions and dispute resolutions with customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering (or Technical Diploma with significant relevant experience).
Technical Skills: Proficient in reading engineering drawings and technical specifications; solid experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex, multi-year technical programs within a matrix environment.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; a quick learner with a strategic approach to workload prioritization.
Languages: Fluent in both English and Italian (written and oral).
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
