Assembly & Test Technician III (A&T / Manufacturing Test Technician)

This role supports assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components in a shop and laboratory environment. Work Schedule
• 2nd Shift
• Full-Time, On-site position in the Western New York region
Key Responsibilities
• Perform water flow testing, pressure testing, leak checks, electrical testing, and flushing/cleanliness checks
• Perform cable assembly, harnessing, crimping, soldering, welding, and connector installation
• Use portable instruments to troubleshoot and repair components and systems
• Operate gauges, transducers, flow meters, force systems, data acquisition systems, mechanical measuring equipment, and torque wrenches
• Read mechanical drawings and work from controlled documentation
• Support fabrication and repair of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic components and circuits
• Safely handle electricity, chemicals, gases, and cryogenic fluids as required
• Support operation, maintenance, and calibration of test equipment
• Perform duties in both shop and laboratory environments
• Follow all safety procedures and use required protective eyewear and PPE
Qualifications
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant assembly, test, manufacturing, or electro-mechanical experience required
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer-based work instructions in English required
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical, or electronic component assembly and testing preferred
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and controlled documentation
• Experience using test equipment, measuring equipment, torque wrenches, gauges, and related tools preferred
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work around mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes while using required PPE
• Must be able to complete required physical testing, which may include bloodwork, pulmonary function testing, and fit testing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and documentation accuracy
