THE WORK
Collaborate directly with Production Operations factory leadership and teams to: establish executable Program Management Baselines (PMB) and action plans to meet or exceed them; decompose program performance into actionable items where required; communicate current and anticipated staffing requirements; promulgate program and functional strategies.
Ensure the successful cost and schedule performance for all programs managed by the MPM team.
Interface with Production Operations and Program Management Office (PMO) leadership across Mission Systems and Weapons spanet segment to ensure customers are receiving the support, business intelligence, information flow, and responsiveness required in support of successful program execution.
Identify and drive consistent improvement across the MPM team, including but not limited to: identification of Value Added Base (VAB) opportunities; execution of affordability initiatives including the support of Flow and Lean/6S implementations; application of make/buy/where-make functional strategies.
Responsible for staffing direct reports to meet the business needs and also providing the factory leads Long Range Plan (LRP) forecast for staffing and capital planning.

Basic Qualifications:
• Minium of 10 years Project management, Operational/Program management or other directly related fields
• Proven History of Leadership and Capacity to Manage Diverse Teams in Dynamic Environment
• Strong Communication, Influencing and Interpersonal Skills
• Accountable decisive leader responsible for impactful decisions
• 4 years PM/MPM/SPM experience in Defense Industry
• Demonstrated Ability to Manage Programs and Recommend/Implement Changes Resulting in Successful and Improved Outcomes
• EVM Certification with Successful Financial Management Expertise
• Strong Communication, Influencing and Interpersonal Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Production Operations and Program Office
Candidate must be able to obtain & maintain a secret security clearance. Obtaining a security clearance requires US citizenship.

• SAP, COS, Tableau experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical, Project Management, or Business Field
• Demonstrated ability to be accountable make decisive and impactful decisions

• Knowledge and experience working development programs and transitioning through full rate production.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certified

• Experience with Development of Production Proposals and Familiarity with Multiple Contract Cost Types (Fixed Price, Cost Plus, etc.)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $140,400 - $269,100. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $161,500 - $304,300. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as spanet and business considerations when extending an offer.
