What you can expect as the Key Account Manager at West Star:

As a Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strategic relationships with key operators. In this exciting position, you’ll ensure the delivery of top-notch maintenance services while driving exceptional customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be vital in fostering partnerships that not only meet but exceed client expectations. You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including (in no specific order):

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned operator accounts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Understand clients’ operational needs and maintenance requirements.
  • Work closely with sales team members to coordinate maintenance, repair, and overhaul services
  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to include reviewing and adjusting maintenance schedules based on needs and site capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet client expectations, ensure adequate staffing, and equipment availability during their visit
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts in partnership with the appropriate sales team member(s)
  • Develop strategies to expand service offerings and enhance customer experience
  • Contribute to new business acquisition efforts
  • Manage service level agreements (SLAs) and contract performance/compliance
  • Resolve contractual issues, disputes and resolve client concerns promptly
  • Translate complex technical information between MRO teams and clients
  • Stay informed about aircraft maintenance trends and regulations
  • Provide technical advice and solutions
  • Track and report on KPIs for each account
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and service delivery
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular satisfaction surveys and reviews
  • Implement and utilize scheduling software to maximize efficiency
  • Develop and maintain a long-term maintenance forecast for each account
  • Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English
Job Requirements:

What you’ll need to bring with you:

 

Your Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

 

Your Experience:

5+ years in aircraft maintenance or account management

Strong understanding of corporate aircraft operations and maintenance

Experience with maintenance scheduling and capacity planning in an MRO environment

Proficiency in using scheduling and resource management software

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Attention to detail, strong organizational, and time management skills.

 

Your Initiative:

We’re looking for a team player who is self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.

 

Your Sense of Responsibility:

Unquestioned credibility, judgment, character, and ethics

Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime, travel and weekend assignments

Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines

Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties

Maintain customer-oriented work habits

Direct the work and flow of multiple projects

Physical Requirements

Routine walking, bending and sitting

Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands

Basic personal computer operations, especially with Apple and Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

Team management skills

Salary rate for this position generally ranges between $92,000-$120,000. Actualrate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semiannual discretionary bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, paid holidays and vacation time.
