- Local: $53/hour
- Non-Local: $38/hour + $166/day Per Diem (for 5 days)
- Per Diem: $166/day (for non-local candidates)

Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Rapid Response Mechanic for an important role working on Boeing 737 sheet metal components and major structures. This position involves performing modifications and assembly tasks, with flexibility required to move between sections, address issues, rework components, and provide support as needed. Candidates will also perform material review board (MRB) work at the end of the line (EOL) and final product verification (FPV).
The work environment is fast-paced, requiring flexibility and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will be involved in various structural and system components, ensuring the proper fit, form, and function of assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform modifications on sheet metal products for Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision structural and system components.
- Perform riveting, hiloks, and rigging tasks.
- Conduct functional testing and ensure proper fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.
- Work from drawings, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established procedures.
- Move between sections as required to resolve issues and rework components.
- No tools required for this position.
Key Skills & Qualifications:- 10+ years of Structural Assembly, Sheet Metal, or Composite Repair experience.
- Experience with Boeing 737 aircraft, particularly in sheet metal assembly and modifications.
- Ability to pass a Plate Test and perform countersink depth tests, rivet installations, and hi-lok fastener installation within a set timeframe.
- Strong experience in sealing, sub-assembly, and assembly/installation of structural parts.
- A&P experience with sheet metal work is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates need to be able to start in the next 2-3 weeks – the sooner they can start, the more likely they will be hired.
- Candidates must be open to any shift
Testing Requirements:- Part 1: Written Test
- Part 2: Perform a countersink depth test
- Part 3: Complete the following tasks within 1 hour: Drill 3 countersinks and install 1 rivet, 1 hi-lok, and 1 fastener
