Job Title: Rapid Response Mechanic
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Rapid Response Mechanic who is capable of passing a plate test and is flexible to work any shift. The ideal candidate will perform MRB work statements at the end of the line (EOL) and final product verification (FPV) on off shifts. Structure Technicians will primarily work on sheet metal components and major structures, performing modifications and assembly to Boeing 737 aircraft. The environment is busy, requiring flexibility and the ability to work independently, providing support wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, seal, rig, inspect, and complete precision and other structural and system components.
- Work from drawings, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, and established processes and procedures.
- Perform functional tests and correct fit, form, and function of assemblies and components.
- Complete MRB work statements at the end of the line (EOL) and final product verification (FPV) on off shifts.
- Perform modifications and assembly on Boeing 737 sheet metal components and major structures.
Essential Skills- Experience with Boeing aircraft sheet metal and aircraft assembly.
- Proficiency in riveting, hiloks, and rigging.
- Ability to perform modifications on sheet metal products.
- Experience in structural assembly, sheet metal experience, and composite repair.
- Capability to pass a plate test.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P experience is acceptable provided there is sheet metal experience.
- Experience in countersinking, countersink depth test, sealing, and riveting.
- Ability to seal parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies, and apply leveling compounds.
- Experience with sub-assembly, using templates, jigs, and fixtures.
- Experience in assembly and installation of structural parts, assemblies, and skins to make larger assemblies.
- Experience in pre-assembling, trimming, fitting, rigging, sealing, aligning, and adjusting aircraft door systems.

Work Environment
The work will be conducted at the manufacturing facility. Candidates will be on their feet for the majority of the shift. No tools are required as they will be provided on site.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $53.00 - $58.75/hr.
