Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections of various aircraft.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned)

  • Understand and follow FAA Certified Repair Station processes, aircraft maintenance procedures, guidelines, and FAA regulations. 
  • Determine parts, technical publications, and sequence of operations necessary for successful completion of assigned tasks. 
  • Measure, align, fit, assemble, connect, and install components using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring equipment. 
  • Perform inspector duties within the FAA Certified Repair Station. 
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot aircraft systems and components. 
  • Perform aircraft modifications and retrofits. 
  • Utilize ground handling equipment to move aircraft. 
  • Utilize scissor lift and forklift to facilitate maintenance. 
  • Lead projects in coordination with the Maintenance Manager. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile and other information related to the position

Position Requirements:

  • FAA A&P license strongly preferred.
  • FAA IA preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an FAA Certified Part 145 Repair Station, or similarly controlled repair environment. 
  • Ability to travel domestically. 
  • Ability to travel internationally strongly preferred. 
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical drawings and publications. 
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Must possess a valid Idaho state driver’s license. 
  • Kodiak and TBM experience preferred. 
  • Aircraft engine run/taxi experience and/or pilot’s license preferred. 
  • Proficiency with MS Office strongly preferred.
