KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:- Knowledgeable in principles applying to T-38 aircraft systems
- Knowledgeable in T-38 theory of aircraft flight, hydraulic principles, aircraft electrical concepts, and servicing concepts.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as engineering drawings, technical documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Good decision analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Must be able to communicate issues to management.
- Proficient in T-38 aircraft safety and servicing processes.
- Knowledgeable in Air Force Technical Order system, supply procedures, and deficiency reporting procedures.
- Intermediate computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred.
- Ability to enter data accurately into databases and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management and staff. Will also routinely interact with other crew members.
- Must possess effective oral and technical written communication skills to clearly communicate information to others.
- Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
- Ability to follow processes.
- Professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
- Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to Yulista goals.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to assist teammates in accomplishing task.
- Able to multi-task.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of tactical Aircraft Maintenance experience with fixed / rotary wing commercial, Government or DOD aircraft.
- Previous Air Force Specialty Code 2A3X3 Tactical Aircraft Maintenance or 2A5X1 Airlift/Special Mission Aircraft Maintenance experience highly desirable.
- Multi aspect aviation qualifications / certifications / disciplines and abilities.
- Experience supporting DoD contracts.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within depot level maintenance.
- Background in TCTO application a plus.
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airplane and/or Powerplant certification a plus
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
A fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. Overtime may be required.
