As an A&P mechanic, you will be responsible for providing professional aircraft maintenance and repairs while maintaining all appropriate safety and regulatory standards. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other line maintenance on aircraft in accordance with specified manuals, procedures, and FAA regulations.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, and overhauls on turbine engines, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and FAA specifications.
- Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition.
- Maintains the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner.
- Performs additional duties as requested by the Director of Maintenance and other management personnel.
- Replace or repair damaged or malfunctioning parts, including engines, components, and systems specific to turbine aircraft.
- Accurately orders general components & parts support turn-in and record of removed parts, support delivery, and record of received parts as needed and directed.
- Performs minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft & Engine systems and components.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment and minimize risks during maintenance activities.
- Prepares various documents for record-keeping purposes, as required by Company policies, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals
- Consistently Locates and uses appropriate technical data for OEM Aircraft Manufacturer
