Purpose
Trains under and assists Warehouse Manager. Performs advanced clerical work. Work involves coordinating clerical activities; compiling and tabulating data; checking documents for accuracy; handling and transporting documents, stock, and inventory; and maintaining files. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Job Functions
- Assists Warehouse Manager in ordering and restocking supplies.
- Assists Warehouse Manager in addressing and resolving any complaints about products, shipping speeds, or damaged items.
- Prepares, reviews, edits, and reconciles discrepancies in reports, purchase orders, correspondence, summaries, vouchers, journals, ledgers, requisitions, records, and other forms for accuracy and completeness.
- Reviews and edits information on Company records; recommends modifications of forms and records; reviews data entry, retrieval, and data searches; and verifies calculations.
- Answers inquiries regarding policies and procedures; responds to requests for information; and communicates with vendors and staff on the purchasing process.
- Maintains and coordinates the maintenance of files, materials, and supplies to include the perpetual inventory; and assists in conducting physical inventory.
- Oversees the Shipping; Tooling; Receiving areas along with the Inventory process.
- Assists the Warehouse Manager in various follow-up tasks and keeps them informed of the status of any pending order, issues, etc.
- Performs a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed.

Qualifications
REQUIRED
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- More than three (3) years or related experience.
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
DESIRED
- Aircraft Warehouse Experience.

Working Conditions
The work is performed in an office environment, aircraft hangar, warehouse, at the departure gate or on the aircraft parking ramp. This position is considered INDUSTRIAL WORK which is characterized as follows.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if required.
- Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing throughout the day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
- Must pass forklift certification.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
