Job Description:

AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Kinston, North Carolina that is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.

 

The Production Control is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and management of production schedules to ensure the timely and efficient manufacturing of aircraft parts and assemblies.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyzes scheduling, materials availability, production flows, order releases, schedule performance, recovery plans, and shop performance impacts to master schedule.
  • Analyzes the impact of process changes to the manufacturing system, production flows, WIP inventory, costs, and related cost center impacts. Provides feedback, recommends improvements, implements approved changes.
  • Coordinates, analyzes and presents multiple sources of performance data to manufacturing management daily.
  • Interfaces with operations engineering, manufacturing management, scheduling, planning, operations support specialist, program management, supply chain management, tooling, and finance organizations.
  • Supports manufacturing process improvements related to production control analyst functions.
  • Develops, maintains, and modifies shop schedules, order release and management data, workflow, capacity information, work center plans, machine/tool information.
  • Works according to established guidelines, processes, methodologies, and systems in determining technical solutions.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of related experience: scheduling, schedule performance, production flows, order management, recovery plans, and shop performance metrics
  • 1+ year of experience in an analyst role
  • 2+ years of experience working in Microsoft Excel, utilizing formulas, charts, graphs, data tables, pivot tables, V-look ups, etc.
  • Experience organizing, planning, scheduling day-to-day shop build plans
  • Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead projects, and understand the workflow relationships from shop-to-shop in a complex environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High School Diploma or GED
