TasksYour main tasks include, among others:
- Operate manual mills, lathes and boring mills and other conventional machine tools to produce and repair parts to print
- Perform setups, tooling adjustments, and manual operations using jigs, fixtures and dial indicators
- Operate CNC mills/lathes for parts runs, repairs and modification work
- Perform basic program edits, offsets and troubleshooting to ensure dimensional accuracy
- Docuement work performed in accordance with MRO/FAA requirements and interal QMS processes
- Restore worn, damaged or out of tolerance parts using approved repair instructions
- Support troubleshooting, reverse engineering and special tooling fabrication
- Follow OSHA, FAA and company safety requirements
- Abrasive blasting and applying bonding resins and epoxies
* Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
