Contract Position

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines (horizontal, vertical, or universal) to perform complex machining operations such as cutting compound angles, contours, and boring compound angular holes.
- Perform helical and spiral milling, serrating, gear, spline, and keyway cutting with exacting tolerances.
- Select and mount specialized machine attachments, plan operation sequences, adjust speeds, feeds, and depth of cuts.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications, using hand tools and precision instruments to lay out stock for machining.
- Monitor and verify product quality following statistical process control or other procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience with stock cutting saws, large Pracico wash stations, and burr bench work.
- High School Diploma required (no degree required).
