De Havilland Parts & Aerostructures in Calgary is currently hiring a Junior CNC Milling Machinist to join our growing team on the Weekend Shift. If youre dedicated, willing to learn, and willing to be a part of a supportive team, our organization is an excellent place to build your career. This position is an integral member of the Machine Shop and also works collaboratively with the entire manufacturing group. The CNC Milling Machinist is responsible for performing assigned tasks while keeping safety at top of mind and working as a team to achieve production goals. This role completes the work by regularly using various CNC Milling machines & hand tools, The work requires practical skills, experience and knowledge. To qualify, you must be a resident of or willing to relocate to the Calgary, AB, area.

Please note this is a full-time union position; salary and benefits will be based on the current Collective Agreement.

  • You have 3+ years of experience in CNC Milling Machining as a Machinist; Year 1 to 4 apprenticeship would be considered an asset
  • You can understand CNC Programs & G-code
  • You can translate the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for part verification
  • You can perform daily, weekly & monthly maintenance on equipment
