POSITION: Expeditor
This full-time position works as part of the Grant Aviation maintenance team to ensure that our fleet is safe and runs efficiently. The position performs shipping and receiving operations and works closely with the Maintenance Parts Manager and team to ensure expediting of parts and other materials in a safe manner.
Do you desire to:
- Maintain a good work ethic, including being reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Parts Manager and team to ensure expediting of parts and other materials in a safe manner.
- Perform shipping and receiving operations including sorting, stocking and tracking and coding.
- Complete all paperwork for shipping, receiving and inventory control that is performed.
- Pick up parts, freight and supplies from local stores and freight forwarding carriers.
- Assist with keeping working space clean and safe.
- Demonstrate familiarization with the principal elements of assigned duties.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Parts Manager.
You ideally possess:
- Experience with parts and shipping and receiving work preferred.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must submit to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Able to lift 70 pounds.
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with ability to learn and master new computer maintenance programs.
