Job Title: Interiors Mechanic
Job DescriptionAs a certified repair station specializing in aircraft maintenance, we are seeking an Interiors Mechanic to perform functions assigned in the disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, and testing of cabin interiors and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Research technical data and perform disassembly, repair, cleaning, adjustment, and testing of cabin interiors and related equipment in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Install aircraft interior furnishings, trim, and accessories, including carpeting, sidewalls, doors, windows, seats, partitions, galleys, and passenger service units, according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production procedures to determine measurements and installation procedures.
- Measure and mark installation areas in aircraft interior, using measuring and marking instruments and templates; drill, ream, countersink, and rivet.
- Trim and file parts and assemblies, using hand tools and power tools.
- Fit and install items in aircraft, using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners, such as screws, rivets, bolts, and speed nuts.
- Perform maintenance work such as repair and maintenance of company equipment and shop housecleaning.
- Fabricate and install supporting structural devices such as clips, brackets, angles, gussets, and doublers, using shop equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation is made on training records for training received, and signed by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.
- Test functional performance of installed items.
- Rework installations as required.
Essential Skills- 1-3+ years of experience
- Commercial aircraft experience, larger than a CRJ 900, Boeing and Airbus preferred
- Experience with Boeing 777
- Avionics installation, electrical experience, troubleshooting, and repair
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally for training in early 2024 for 2 months
- Valid driver’s license
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Airframe License or Repairman’s Certificate for Interiors and Related Structures preferred
- Basic set of tools required
- Must be able to obtain a passport

Work Environment
Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time. Requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, balancing, and reaching above shoulder level. Requires occasional crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weight up to 50 lbs unassisted. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Work location: Utilized base wide. Potential hazards include exposure to high-intensity noise levels, changes in temperature, materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, sharp instruments, and working around moving machinery. Protective equipment required includes goggles, safety glasses, ear protection, and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Marana, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
