Job Title: Test Engineer - $35/HR+Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer for a 12-month contract role with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. This role involves establishing test procedures and coordinating the testing of Power Generation Equipment, verifying and validating new tests, and developing systems to gather digital data during testing. The position requires working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Establish test procedures and coordinate testing of Power Generation Equipment.
- Responsible for testing projects within the scope of Engineering and Production.
- Verify and validate new tests.
- Test new products and develop systems to gather digital data during testing.
- Set up test chambers to test hydraulic and AC Oil cooled systems.
Essential Skills- 7+ years of testing experience in the aviation industry or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience developing, qualifying, and testing products.
- Experience troubleshooting complex aviation power generation systems.
- Knowledge of product testing, product development engineering, and quality engineering.
- Proficiency in hydraulic design, hydraulic modeling, hydraulics maintenance, AC/DC motor control, and test chamber setup.
- Familiarity with thermal testing, MIL standards, and ITAR regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Airframe and Powerplant License is a plus.
- Experience with Part 145/121 Repair Stations, avionics systems, instrumentation calibration, and research & development.
- Knowledge of power electronics, vibration analysis, temperature controls, and military standards.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, temperature-controlled FAA audited environment. The shift hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for extended hours due to testing schedules. This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
