Description

Your Role:

The Senior Avionics Engineer will support the provision of 21J Design Services in close association with MTCH, CAM Services and allied groups. You will also have accountability for:

Perform Development, review and approval (where applicable) of modifications, repairs and technical data amendments for aircraft electrical and avionics systems.

Develop plans, test procedures and test reports and participate in trials as needed

Conduct Technical investigation into defects, deficiencies and faults reported on C27J aircraft avionics systems to determine possible causes and potential solutions.

Investigate, analyse and provide pragmatic and timely engineering solutions to technical issues experienced during C-27J operations.

About You:

The ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV 1

Bachelor’s degree in aerospace Avionics and/or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Chartered Membership of Engineers Australia (CPEng), RPEQ

Aviation Experience, preferably in a design environment

Knowledge of Defence Aviation Regulations (DASR) and/or other Civil/Military Airworthiness Regulations

Knowledge of configuration management and certification concepts utilised by ADF and/or civil operators
