Description:This position reports to the F-35 Quality Engineering Senior Manager. The selected individual will provide QE support on program initiatives/requirements as well as serving as the Action Officer for the F-35 Quality Director. Specific tasking includes the following:
- Engage with Quality leadership team on Focused Leader Engagement strategy, scorecards and presentations
- Work to improve/optimize/automate the F-35 Quality leadership teams operating rhythm, scorecards and supporting content (FLEMOS, Obeya, leader/build area scorecards, etc)
- Project manage program quality/leader initiatives
- Coordinate team engagements and support ad hoc tasks from Quality director
- Support of PFMEAs on critical manufacturing processes to meet AS6500 requirements
- Serve as point of contact for F-35 Quality Command Media documents such as Program Quality Management Plan (PQMP), FAI Plan, PPV Plan, etc.
- Support engineering change boards to identify risks to production quality and determine if PPV is required.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel macros, pivot charts/tables, V & H lookups, etc.)
- Experience in causal analyses/problem solving, corrective and preventive action, continuous improvement methods and techniques
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of quality science tools in the following areas: statistical analysis/process controls, sampling, six sigma, FAI/PPV, PPAP, PFMEA, process auditing, product validation, root cause analysis/corrective action, and supplier quality management.
- Familiar with industry standards such as AS9100, ISO9001, DCMA 8210, etc.
- Familiar with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
- Working knowledge of SFM, PDM, & QADS.
- Working knowledge/experience with software packages such as Tableau.
- Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, presentation, and technical writing.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
