Position Summary
The Product Engineer conducts research, analysis, design, and testing of components, parts, processes, and systems to support the development of new products and the continuous improvement of the Solenoid Valve product portfolio.With limited supervision, leads, coordinates, and administers technical product initiatives, ensuring effective execution across stakeholders and functions.

What we are expecting from you
Design, develop, implement and continuously improve existing product portfolio.
Develop customised solutions as per Customers Specifications.
Define validation process for new products.
Manage their own projects by involving all pertinent functions (Procurement, Scheduling, Process Eng., Marketing, Quality, H&S, LAB) according to the Corporate New Product
Ensure all manufacturing documentation is created, implemented, maintained and controlled as per Division quality management system requirements.
Manage Engineering Change Requests and Change Orders to ensure activities are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
Maintain and support all activities related to the local ERP system (namely JDE) – BOMs.
If requested, prepare detailed justification (AFE) to obtain Capital spend approval.
Continuously work on identifying and implementing solutions to reduce manufacturing costs utilising VA/VE practices with Simple-by-Design approach.
Who we are looking for
University Degree in engineering or similar discipline or equivalent
Good knowledge of spanet product.
Min of 3/5 years in a Technical Dept role within a precision engineering/electro-mechanical environment.
Experience and track record of working in a similar role within the Industrial, automotive or aerospace, beverage industries.
Ability to release and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system.
Familiarity with the design of fuel (CNG, H2) high pressure regulators for heavy-duty trucks will be considered a plus.
- Proven knowledge of APQP methodologies and IATF16949 will be considered a plus.
Ideally, you will also have
Good CAD software knowledge.
Teamwork
Project Management skills.
Strong sense of urgency, highly motivated, results driven with a positive can-do attitude.
Strong communication and presentation Skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organisation.
