Description: You will be the Procurement Engineer Senior Staff for the Javelin supply chain team. Our team is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, affordability, and risk mitigation across the supply chain.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Procurement Engineer Senior Staff, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex supply chain issues and drive continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the production ramp and ensuring the supply base is equipped to meet evolving demands. Your responsibilities will include:
•Partnering with leadership to drive affordability, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across the supply chain
•Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives and resolve complex supply chain issues
•Developing and implementing process improvements to drive efficiency and reduce costs
•Analyzing and resolving supply chain disruptions and other issues that arise
•Traveling up to 50 to support supply chain activities and partner with stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:
-•Experience establishing effective relationships with internal and external teams

•Experience assessing suppliers business, process and technical / quality capabilities

•Have an understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes

•Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
•Understanding of supply chain processes and organizational business rhythms

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
