NDT Level II - XRAY/RT

As an NDT Level II X-ray Technician with a focus on Radiographic weld inspection, you will primarily be utilizing X-ray film detection methods. Additional detection methods such as Digital or Computed Radiography may be utilized as needed.  Shooting film radiography utilizing X-ray tube heads.

• Shift: 2nd or weekend
• Full-time, with full benefits
• Duration: 4+ months with potential to go permanent 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection activity shall be performed on BE4 components including HP and LP LOX assemblies, volutes, weld plates, and other components as directed by Blue Origin HSV NDT Management through Jules Executable Work Orders (EWO)"s.
• Conduct and oversee critical inspections, providing a clear, accurate, and concise interpretation of inspection results utilizing both manual techniques and advanced NDT inspection systems.
• Provide essential support for various organizational activities, including proposal development, equipment maintenance, process instruction revisions, new test method development, interpretation of customer technical specifications, and identification of productivity enhancements.

EOE/F/M/D/V

• X-ray Technicians shall possess a valid Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP) Radiation Safety Certification or an Agreement State radiation radiographer safety certification.  
• Active NDT level 2 NAS-410 certification and experience hours 

Desired but not required skills:

• AS or BS in Engineering
• Familiarity with Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT)
• NDT Level II Certification in dye penetrant inspection in compliance with ASTM-E1417
