Join a team thatu202Fdesigns, develops, andu202Fintegrates Next Generationu202FAvionicsu202F(NGA) solutions at our State-of-the-Art Deer Valley Avionics Lab. You will play a critical role in maintaining our state-of-the-art Avionics Test Lab environment, Flight Simulation Benches and hardware configurations for on target testing the Next Gen Avionics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain state of the art Test Labs environment for on target testing of Next Gen Avionics
  • Configuration and management of Flight Simulation Benchesu202Fto support multiple user test environments 
  • Insuring the usability of the simulation Lab environment by maintaining the Micro SITS and Mini SITS in the correctu202Fhardwareu202Fand software configurations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and simulation issues
  • Support newu202FSystemu202FIntegrationu202Factivities for bringing Benches on-line and maintaining their correct hardware and software configurations
  • Software loading on Simulation Benches for flight simulation testing.
  • Troubleshootu202Fproblems with Benchu202FHardwareu202Fand wiring 
  • Initiate automated testing to validate Bench IO configuration.
  • Executing automated peripheral and network IO tests
  • Test data, reporting, andu202Ftroubleshooting 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineeringu202Fteams including Systems, Hardware, Software,u202Fand Test in support of various aircraft platforms.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Associates degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Systems, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of Engineering Technician experience

  • Experience withu202Fintegratedu202Favionicsu202For related flight systems
  • Experience with Avionics, flight simulation, hardware test lab, or related environments is of value
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional design teams including Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test
  • Experience with lab equipment includingu202Foscilloscopes,u202Fsignal generators, multimeters, emulators, logic analyzers, Data analysis/Test software, etc
  • Experience withu202FAgile development processes
  • Familiarity withu202Fsystem development lifecycleu202Fguided by FAA/EASA requirements
