To support our Chemical Operations in Saegertown, PA, we are seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern. In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out design and development assignments connected with manufacturing equipment and processes including: reactors, mixers, and special equipment to achieve desired production rates and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
Investigates and analyzes the cost and reliability of using various equipment and processes.
Studies performance and troubles in existing tools and equipment and recommends improvements through redesign or modification.
Estimates costs of assigned projects together with a satisfactory delivery schedule.
Follows up to see that schedules are met.
Makes layouts and detail drawings of equipment assigned.
Evaluates various equipment and methods and points out advantages, disadvantages and production capabilities.
Recommends the purchase items needed to keep equipment properly maintained.
Checks on process capabilities of equipment designed to see that it is properly maintained.
Keeps abreast of all new development in equipment or processes that could be adapted to improve manufacturing processes.
Ability to use Microsoft suite of products.
Qualifications
At least Soph level in BS/BA Chemical Engineering program
