Description:Lockheed Martin Procerus Technologies in Vineyard, UT is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2025. In your role as an Engineering Intern, you will be a member of a team engaged in the development of tactical sUAS and related accessories. You will simultaneously support multiple groups including systems, electrical, and mechanical engineering by performing a variety of technical tasks. Depending on your particular skillset, your primary responsibilities may include:
• troubleshooting and repairing development sUAS and associated payloads
• carrying out flight testing and collecting flight-log data from sUAS
• analyzing test data and generating high-quality reports for review
• designing, 3D-printing, post-processing, and test-fitting prototype components
• assembling prototype vehicles according to engineers’ drawings and instructions
• assembling wiring harnesses and populating PCBAs
• completing electrical schematic and printed circuit board (PCB) layout tasks
Basic Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
• Demonstrated ability to perform technical tasks
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with soldering, using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, digital multimeters, etc.), crimping wire leads, and building wiring harnesses
• Understanding of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors, transistors, and basic integrated circuits
• Experience and/or knowledge of electrical schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium
• Proficiency in using hand tools to assemble and repair sUAS and associated equipment
• Ability to design mechanical components and assemblies in CREO
• Working knowledge of additive manufacturing methods and skill in designing for them
• Proven experience flying, building, and repairing sUAS products
• Part 107 qualified sUAS pilot (or ability to quickly obtain certification)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
