* Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years of experience in an engineering classification, or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years of experience in an engineering classification, or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification, from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
* Experience working with Linux/UNIX operating systems.
* Knowledge of network, hardware, and software systems and technical architecture.
* Experience in systems engineering, including system requirements, functional decomposition, allocation, integrated design, analysis, evaluation, and verification.
* Ability to translate high-level technical requirements into architecture and operational specifications.
* Experience with lab testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis.

* Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
* Design hardware, software, and interface specifications.
* Coordinate with suppliers on the development of hardware, software, and interface specifications.
* Test and validate system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.
* Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance.
* Troubleshoot issues with fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential application.
* Support airplane installation designs and certification efforts for network and digital connectivity systems.
* Develop operational use cases and evaluation methods.
* Utilize Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) for architecture development and simulation environments.
* Develop and execute integrated test procedures and plans.
* Define and configure lab setups for testing.
* Create software scripts to support and automate testing and analysis. Physical Requirements & Environment
