We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, and Bells High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
Configuration Management Specialists- Aircraft PLM – Bell Wichita, FLRAA
This role is essential to deliver accurate, current configurations to the shop floor, ensuring operations have the information required to carry out engineering changes with precision.
During the development period of the aircraft, the number of changes and internal communication will be significant.
As such, cutovers, deadlines, and modifications are regularly discussed with the design engineering and supply chain teams.
This position is onsite in Wichita, Kansas.
What you will be doing as a Configuration Management Specialist- PLM:
Manage Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) and Data Item Deliverable (DID) requirements.
Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.
Determine and apply the proper data marking to deliverable information and ensure adherence to contract scope and export regulations.
Monitor the stability and health of the Engineering Bill-of-Material and Planning Bill-of-Material for the assigned program and provide feedback to data owners regarding data issues.
Execute the change process, configuration management, data management, and product-related data maintained in the ENOVIA environment.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with internal Bell and external customers (USG, regulatory agencies, partners, OEMs, and suppliers).
Coordinate with contracts organization and customers regarding new or changing requirements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide specific direction to data owners to ensure compliance.
Monitor engineering release and provide appropriate and compliant data submittals to requesting or contracting customers.
Review program engineering configuration control methodology and variations in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environment (ENOVIA) and provide specific direction to data owners that will prevent process or system issues and to ensure proper standards and quality are established and maintained.
