The Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the Premier Vertical Lift military program in the world. Bells FLRAA aircraft will become the Armys primary assault aircraft for the next 30 years, sunsetting UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and advancing the Armys assault capabilities. The FLRAA program is utilizing the latest in cutting edge technology to expand the United States Army’s tactical advantage in future conflicts. Core Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT), Aircraft SysML and Interface Modeling Engineer
These Aerospace Data Modeling and Architecture Engineers are responsible for design, modeling and integrating the data architecture in MBSE models in Cameo for the FLRAA aircraft program - onboard systems.
In this role you will be taking data types and putting them into CAMEO Models. Create the Data Architecture for the FLRAA Platform
In addition, you will be responsible to validate and verify system data designs and data flow throughout the digital backbone and connected aircraft systems.
What you’ll be doing as an Aircraft SysML and Interface Modeling Engineer:

SysML Modeling in MagicDraw/Cameo.

Developing and creating Aircraft Network and compute Configurations

Creating the Data Architecture for the FLRAA Platform

Working with program IPTs and Suppliers to iterate on data

Generate system functional requirements from stakeholder expectation.

Develop architecture models and allocate requirements to hardware/software components.

Validate and verify system data paths.

Troubleshoot and resolve system integration/verification issues.

Coordinate with Internal and External IPTs, suppliers, and peers to generate and execute projects/design plans and reviews.

Manage and coordinate issues, problem reports and change requests to closure.

Coordinate design changes and deliveries with Safety, Security and Certification organizations.

Ensure timely delivery of systems data, systems requirements, integrated validation/verification activities, and issue resolution.

Escalate issues that need additional engineering or business leadership assistance in a timely manner.
