Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob Description
As an Avionics Technician, you will be instrumental in performing classified heavy modifications on various fixed-wing military aircraft. The role requires removing existing systems and installing wire harnesses throughout the aircraft while terminating multiple types of connectors. This position offers a long-term, open-ended contract with the potential to transition to a direct role.
Responsibilities
- Perform classified heavy modifications on fixed-wing military aircraft.
- Remove existing systems from aircraft.
- Install wire harnesses throughout the aircraft.
- Terminate dozens of different types of connectors.
Essential Skills
- 4+ years of avionics experience.
- Experience terminating connectors.
- Experience working with several different types of crimpers (at least 3 or more).
- Must own tools, with toolbox shadowed and tools etched or colored by Day 1.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Installation experience preferred.
- Desire for long-term career opportunity.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Work Environment
The work is conducted in a climate-controlled FAA regulated hangar. Shifts vary depending on hangar and program needs, with most employees working on the first shift. Some work four ten-hour days while others work five eight-hour days, with flexibility needed for occasional second shifts. Overtime is often available based on program needs but is not guaranteed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
