Position Summary:
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electric Aircraft Technician to support aircraft manufacturing, maintenance, and refurbishment operations. This role focuses on electrical and electronic systems, ensuring all work meets FAA regulations and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:.
- Perform assembly, installation, repair, and replacement of aircraft electrical/electronic components and systems.
- Conduct functional checks of components and systems.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, service manuals, and technical data to determine specifications.
- Use standard and specialized tools, power equipment, and test devices.
- Collaborate closely with lead personnel to manage schedules, priorities, and resources.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience working on avionics in aircraft (rotorcraft experience preferred).
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams.
- Familiarity with standard shop practices for aircraft structure fabrication and repair..
- A&P license is a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
