This is a great opportunity for someone who is newer to the HR function but passionate about the value of the Human Resources function, is results-driven, organized, highly proficient in MS Office suite and can respond quickly to changing priorities. You will assist in the day-to-day HR operations, providing support in managing key files for the Future of Work and Flexible Work Programs, Employee Onboarding, DEIB, Talent Administration and other HR functions that are part of our Talent Management Team.

In this role you will:
- Assist with the Future of Work strategy and prioritized deliverables.
- Assist in developing and executing HR procedures and policies in support of the broader HR People Strategy.
- Provide administrative and logistics support to the Talent Management team, including scheduling meetings and calendar invitations, communicating agendas and documenting minutes, budgeting administration, arranging travel, and preparing new hire welcome kits.
- Produce and submit reports as required on a variety of HR topics under the Talent Management umbrella.
- Craft engaging letters and documents, ensuring they reflect the vision of the Talent Management Leadership Team.
- Assist with in-depth research initiatives, analyzing data to uncover insights.
- Compile information and present findings in clear, actionable reports for leadership.
- Serve as a liaison for the Talent Management Leadership Team, facilitating the flow of information and gathering necessary input from various stakeholders to enhance team initiatives.
- Directly responsible for producing sensitive material relating to managerial, HR/labour relations decisions.
- Assist in special projects, as requested.
Job Requirements
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree, or other educational certificate, in human resources.
- 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Experience in human resources in a professional services environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both official languages
- Excellent MS Office computer knowledge and skills
- Experience with HRIS systems (ie: Workday)
- Experience with creative design is a strong asset
- Comfortable learning and using new technologies

Working conditions
- This position is based at the Ottawa Head Office and classified as a Hybrid position requiring incumbent to be on site a minimum 3 days per week on average.
