ELINT Analyst Senior - R0161663
Job Description:

Purpose and Impact:

This position is contingent upon award of contract, business needs and funding availability. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ELINT Analyst at Lackland AFB, TX to support full-spectrum Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations in support of U.S. and coalition air and joint forces. This role is critical to enabling warfighters to accurately distinguish between friendly and adversary systems through advanced analysis of electromagnetic emissions and associated platforms.

The selected candidate will conduct in-depth ELINT analysis, correlate multi-source intelligence data, and produce mission-critical intelligence that directly supports operational planning, targeting, and combat identification. This position plays a vital role in ensuring mission success and preventing fratricide, particularly in support of advanced platforms such as fifth-generation aircraft.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of signals and associated emitters using ELINT data sources, tools, and techniques.
  • Analyze electromagnetic systems to determine platform capabilities, operational patterns, and threat relevance.
  • Produce intelligence assessments that support combat identification, targeting, and mission planning.
  • Develop and maintain technical intelligence databases, libraries, and reference materials.
  • Identify and characterize non-threat (friendly and neutral) systems to reduce risk of fratricide.
  • Utilize non-traditional intelligence sources, technical manuals, and combat support databases to enhance analytic accuracy.
  • Support development of mission data files and intelligence products for advanced air systems, including fifth-generation platforms.
  • Collaborate with joint, interagency, and coalition partners to ensure integration of intelligence outputs.
  • Deliver clear, concise written and verbal intelligence briefings to operational stakeholders.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: The position supports sensitive operations and demands strict adherence to IC and Air Force analytic tradecraft standards, information security requirements, and professional ethics.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • Understanding of electromagnetic spectrum principles, signals analysis, and emitter identification
  • Experience working with ELINT tools, databases and analytical methodologies
  • Proven ability to analyze and translate complex technical or operational data into actionable intelligence
  • Experience working with classified intelligence systems and environments
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce clear, concise written intelligence products
  • Strong verbal communication skills for briefings and collaborative discussions

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of both US and foreign military systems, radar technologies, and electronic warfare concepts.
  • Willingness to comply with all DoD, Air Force, and IC security and conduct standards
  • Ability to complete and maintain required training throughout contract performance

Security Clearance Required:

  • TS/SCI eligibility with a favorable Tier 5 (T5) investigation

Minimum Education:

  • Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of related senior-level experience.

Minimum Years of Experience:

  • 10 years ELINT or advanced intelligence analysis experience with at least part of the required experience must be within the past two (2) years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting DoD, Air Force, NSA, or Intelligence Community SIGINT missions
  • Prior experience supporting Air Combat Command, ISR operations, or mission data production.
  • Experience integrating ELINT with other intelligence disciplines
  • Familiarity with targeting, collection management, or operational planning processes
  • Regional, functional, or technical subject matter expertise
  • Experience briefing senior leaders or operational staff
