Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and that the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and agency guidelines. Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and agency guidelines to assure compliance. Works directly with operating entities to ensure that inspections, process control analyses or audits are conducted on a continuing basis as specified to enforce requirements and meet specifications. Ensures the quality assurance programs and policies are maintained and modified regularly. Establishes and ensures that inspections are conducted prior to the processing of raw materials, ingredients, product and package specifications, frequently at vendor/supplier locations. May serve as liaison between the company and the various governmental agencies .
Support administration and implementation of the organization’s quality management system (QMS)
Support maintenance and sustainment of the organization’s AS9100/ISO9001 accreditation
Supports generation of reports and metrics that convey the health of the QMS
Supports the corrective action system and processes
Supports the corrective action board (CAB) meetings with minutes, metrics and actions
Supports post-audit activities for audits such as corporate, regulatory and customer.
Conducts and supports internal audit activities to assess and measure compliance to organization’s quality management system (QMS) and applicable requirements, through interviewing auditees, recording responses, completing audit reports, and scheduling or attending audit out-briefs
Support continuous improvement efforts to deliver exceptional service to the customer
Ability to problem solve a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
Support and conduct Foreign Object Elimination audits
Basic Qualifications:
Must have Bachelor’s degree of Science with 0 years’ experience
Ability to work 2nd shift and any shift
Familiarity with auditing a quality management system
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Defense Contract Management Agency 8210.1 series
Familiarity with ISO/AS9100
Experience with internal auditing for quality management system
Experience with reporting and metrics
Strong written and verbal communication
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Primary Level Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $94,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
